B/MANIF/UST contains the symbols defined by the .SSUST macro and symbols defining the lay-out of the UST. In addition, there are some general TSS parameters that are defined here because they are defined by the TS.UST macro.
It is not at all clear why symbols such as the length of a program descriptor are defined by TS.UST instead of the macros they relate to (.PRDES in this case). However, Bull did it this way, and as a result you will need to include the UST manifests more often than would otherwise seem necessary.
Before SR2500, UST also defined a number of other symbols for the TSS slave prefix, the TSS caches, and terminal device codes. When recompiling some older code that uses UST, it may be necessary to include one of the manifest files listed below.
