Special Instructions:

1.  This work should be scheduled at non-peak hours.
2.  Notify affected personnel before performing PM (alarmed or security
    entrances).
3.  Post "out of service" signs and/or barricades, as appropriate.


Items to Check & Initial Completion:

Gates:

1.___ Inspect all pivot points, hinges, latches, etc.  Apply lubricant where
      needed, wiping off excess.
2.___ Check all locking devices.  Lubricate as required.
3.___ Inspect center gate support rollers and lubricate as required.
4.___ Clean roller track of any debris.
5.___ Check bolts, fasteners, and mounting hardware.  Tighten or adjust as
      necessary.
6.___ Check for any obstructions that retard full swing or movement of the gate.
7.___ Check hold open devices for proper operation.  Lubricate as required.


Fences:

1.___ Check posts and corner posts, support guys, and horizontal bars between
      each support post.
2.___ Check wire and anchor point; re-stretch and re-anchor if necessary.
3.___ Inspect fence anchors along the bottom of the fence and at the point where
      the fence is connected to the post.
4.___ Treat with galvanized protectant where rust has developed.
5.___ Apply weed control along entire base of fence.  Consult the Material Safety
      Data Sheets (MSDS) for hazardous ingredients and proper personal protective
      equipment (PPE).


Tools and Materials:

1.  Standard Tool Kit
2.  "Out of Service" signs
3.  Cleaning equipment and materials. Consult the MSDS for hazardous ingredients
    and proper PPE.
4.  Ladder.  Check ladder for defects. Do not use defective ladders.
5.  Lubricants.  Consult the MSDS for hazardous ingredients and proper PPE.
6.  Wire Stretcher
7.  Rust Protectant. Consult the MSDS for hazardous ingredients and proper PPE.
