Description:

TSYST can write a series of files (qstars and libraries) to a tape in a format suitable for reading by startup in a system edit. Normally, TSYST is used to write one or two site specific qstar files to tape, but it can also be used to write a full Total System Tape. If the file being written is a qstar file, TSYST verifies the checksums; otherwise TSYST just copies the file to the tape.
