O+B - Set number of memory pages.

Syntax:

O+Bn
O-Bn

Examples:

o+b3

Where:

n
is a positive integer.

Description:

O+Bn lets you add n more pages of memory to FRED working space. Thus O+B3 will increase the number of pages in memory from the default of three to six. Since this allows FRED to store more text in memory, the editing process may be faster with extra pages. Note that the increased memory requirements may slow response time.

If you specify more memory than FRED can use in a given application, it will only take the amount of memory it needs.

O-Bn will decrease the number of working pages in memory, provided there are pages that are unused. Once a page is in use, it cannot be released.
