Examples:

cn -dmb tss -scid tz08

Where:

correspondent
is the name of the correspondent. At Waterloo, the default correspondent name is TSS. A correspondent name can have a maximum of eight characters.
-DMB mailbox
specifies the correspondent mailbox name. This name can have a maximum of eight characters.
-EXT extension
is a string of up to four characters giving the mailbox extension name. -EXT can only be used with the -DMB form of the command. If the -EXT option is omitted, an extension of four blanks will be used.
-SCID node
gives the node name of the correspondent. The node name is up to four characters long. If the -SCID option is omitted, the DN8 will supply a default.
-CD conn
gives a connection descriptor used to complete the connection. A connection descriptor is up to eight characters long. At Waterloo a default connection descriptor to connect to TSS is supplied.
-USR personid
 
-PID personid
specifies a personid that will be passed on to the correspondent. This is needed for systems with the System Security Manager.
-PW password, -PIC password
specifies a password that will be passed on to the correspondent. This is called the "Person Identification Code" in the SSM documentation.
-PJ project
specifies a project name that will be passed on to the correspondent. This is the FMS userid you are connecting login onto.
-BA chargeno
specifies a billing account that will be passed on to the correspondent. This is the TSS charge number.
-STR string
specifies a string that will be passed on to the correspondent. This string can have up to 32 characters. It is intended to supply application-specific information. For DAC connections, it can be used to specify the two-character DNET ID.
-LMB local_mailbox
gives a local mailbox name. This indicates which device should be connected to the correspondent. The mailbox name can be up to eight characters long.
-CPW Cpassword
specifies a change connect password.
