GMODES - turn on process mode options.
Usage:
mme gmodes
Where:
- Q register
- indicates which options are to be set.
- Bit 0
- if this is 1, HEX mode floating point will be enabled via Indicator Register
control.
To initiate HEX mode processing, a program must use MME GMODES to set this
option, then turn on bit 32 of the Indicator register.
- Bit 1
- if this is 1, MME GMODES will enable Transfer Trace of control in History
registers.
- Other Bits
- reserved.
Description:
MME GMODES turns on process mode options as described above.
Options may be turned off with MME GMODER (see "expl mme gmoder").
If HEX mode is not available on the system, Bit 0 of the Q register will be
zero when MME GMODES returns.
Otherwise, Bit 0 will be 1.
If HEX mode is successfully enabled, bit 33 of .SMSRV is set to 1.
HEX mode must be enabled separately for each activity of a job.
