LRAND48 - obtain long random integer.

(Compatible with UNIX System V C)

Usage:

long lrand48();
r = lrand48();

Where:

long r;
is a pseudo-random integer greater than or equal to 0 and strictly less than 2**31.

Description:

"lrand48" returns a pseudo-random number in the range [0,2**31). The random generator used is the linear congruential algorithm and 48-bit integer arithmetic. Before the first call to "lrand48", you should call "srand48" or "seed48" to initialize the random seed.
